Among Weeds is an interrogation of interiority as articulated by productive viewership. This ongoing body of work grounds an ineffible, ever shifting matrix of identity with its fractured, physical manifestations. Primarily shot in Judge’s home state of Oregon, the images represent a homecoming that is always incomplete. 









Samuel Judge is a New York City-based photographer. Originally from Portland, OR, he graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Design History and Practice, focusing on photography and visual culture.

Samuel specializes in medium format film photography, seeking to locate axes of identity and relationality and their  interdependence.
